What are your top 10 rules to stay calm?

  1. Become knowledgeable, the more knowledge you have. The calmer you will get automatically. “Empty vessel makes more noise
  2. Do meditation. Earlier, I used to think about what could meditation do, but when I started doing it I realised how it helps.
  3. See your idols. What comes to your mind when we say calm, I hope most of the people will say M.S.Dhoni. There should be a quote or a line like this “As calm as M.S.D”. See what he does in situations under pressure and follow him, I am damn sure you will learn a lot
  4. Avoid arguments. I have observed that people usually lose their calmness when they think that people are not agreeing to what they are saying. We all have some biases and we want that what we think should come out to be true. And when we argue either we lose the argument or the goodwill of the person. We also lose your calmness either ways, therefore we should avoid argumentsI have stopped arguing and I think nothing is better than avoiding it.
  5. The fewer people you chill with, the less bullshit you deal with.” I haven't seen M.S.D chilling with a lot of people. The saying is correct especially when you chill out with negative people. They eat out your head. Nowadays, we are surrounded with so negativity that you will find a handful of positive people, therefore you will only find a few positive people to chill with.
  6. Stay silent. All the calm people who I consider as calm are also silent. They believe in listening more and staying silent. Listen and Silent is anagrams and one can only listen carefully when one in completely from inside. They value their words. “Putting a price tag to your words
  7. Stay happy. The ultimate goal in life is to stay happy from the inside. If you are happy from the inside, then the chances that you will be calmer. The true happiness inside us gives us enough courage and willpower to deal with things. Don't look at things from a destination point of view, look at it from a journey point of view.
  8. Spend time with your family. Just one meal together with your family or if you are staying far one phone call to your family every day will make you more connected to your family. In this era with smartphones in hand, we have stopped spending time with our families. Do that and I assure you will be calmer.
  9. Listen to music. Music relaxes you and when you listen to music, your mind stays calm.
  10. Work Superhard. Give value through whatever you do, when you give more and more value to people through whatever you do a sense of pride comes to you. It makes you happy and you are calm. Providing value is more important.
