Kundalini

What is the esasiest way to awaken Kundalini?

A Kundalini awakening is one of the rarest achievements one can achieve in the journey of life. Kundalini is the energy of love! A Kundalini awakening is of immense importance; it contains immeasurable achievements, but it can turn your life inside out, in a good way, as it opens up your perceptions, which will make it possible to look at life from unimaginable angles.

The name "Kundalini" derives from a Sanskrit word that literally means "coiled like a snake" or "one that has the shape of a snake" and is an energy that all human beings have at the base of the column vertebral. Orientals call this energy Chi, which can be awakened by Tai Chi Chuan and other practices. The indigenous people themselves invoke Kundalini with the strong stomping of the feet in those characteristic rituals that have become notorious in films.

Spiritual awakening can happen to anyone at any age.

“There are many methods to awaken the kundalini fire, such as yoga, meditation, near-death experience, mental substances, sex, out-of-body experience, prolonged stress, initiation by a guru, shamanic ritual…

This has happened to many gurus, spiritual practitioners, shamans and several others throughout history. Gopi Krishna, one of the founders of Kundalini research, experienced the awakening of kundalini due to a sacred meditation known as the Golden Flower method. However, he had a dramatic awakening and with several turbulences, which draws attention to the need for psychological preparation to be able to deal with this energy *, as narrated in the book "The awakening of Kundalini". It is said that the Golden Flower method takes more than 100 days of practice to start forming the accumulated energy of the kundalini, which leads to the understanding of self-realization.

There are numerous methods of initiation in which kundalini is achieved with the help of a master teacher or guru, when they take special preparations to direct the flow of kundalini through awakening consciousness. Although there are others who have experienced awakening at a faster rate in time, such as Terence McKenna, philosopher and psychonaut. He discovered the miraculous secrets of the universe by eating magic psilocybin mushrooms in the Amazon, which led to his extensive research on psychedelics, which McKenna believed was the key to the "transdimensional journey" of the human psyche.

Other notorious that awoke the sleeping snake:

Ramana Maharshi, a famous Hindu guru born in 1870, experienced when he was just sixteen years old a Kundalini awakening by a sudden annihilating fear of death that took over his body. It was through the perception of looking inward and contemplating death that he was able to experience spontaneous awakening through the death of the ego.

Philip St. Romain, a Christian minister experienced his own shocking awakening through the simple method of praying to God.

Aleister Crowley, a famous occultist and founder of the Thelema religion in the late 19th century, had several methods of his own, including alchemy, sex, hashish and mescaline.

Aldous Huxley, the English writer for Brave New World, went through an awakening experience through Peyote [mescaline], where he relived his experiences in his book that changed the life of the 50s, "The Doors of Perception". The Doors of Perception created absolute outrage at the open, vulnerable experience of psychedelics, which was hardly recognized in the 1950s. The discovery of the beauty of the universe led him to research psychedelic and psychiatric studies.

Kundalini's presence even intrigued the intellectual mind of Carl Jung, Alan Watts, Timothy Leary, Daniel Pinchbeck, Maynard Keenan, Joe Rogan, Russell Brand and several iconic intellectuals ”.

The American writer and scholar, Jana Dixon, was really thorough and wrote one of the most impactful books on Kundalini. In "The Biology of Kundalini", Dixon, attributes the awakening of the sleeping snake to some conditions. One of them may be unrequited or unfulfilled love, as the author describes:

"It is often necessary to have self-initiating psychological conditions, such as devotion, excessive generosity, crisis, Shaktipat of a Guru or the encounter of great love, in order to provoke chemistry in a high degree of intensity. Shaktipat literally means descent of grace. It is the yogic initiation in which the Siddha Guru transmits spiritual energy to the aspirant, thus awakening the aspirant’s sleeping kundalini shakti ".

What happens when your third eye opens?.

What happens when your third eye opens?.

1.     Mind eye is waiting for millennia to open, once it is open, it will revels all secrets of nature and its creation.

2.     Your sexual desire completed vanished and not only sexual energy, all desired will drop out.

3.     No one can attract you however you will be like magnet everyone will attracted towards you.

4.     Whatever thoughts comes while meditating on third eye, it will comes to true.

5.     For you whole physical existence will appear as virtual reality and there is no difference between dream and day life.

6.     you are blessed and enjoying Ananda which is beyond sweetness and sorrowness of duality life.

7.     When you keep on doing deep meditation on third eye, you will start pervading and realized your etheric body and can know ultimate reality.

8.     You will see very white color shower of light of lights which is essence of living life.

9.     People who will see in your eyes either gets hypnotized or his subtle body will gets vibrated.

10.If you are not dancing, then natural dance will start into you.

Opening of third eye (jnana netra) means enlightenment, which comes are receiving the true divine knowledge from the preacher. Like the following will give enlightenment in the angle of universality of God.

The same single God revealed Himself distinctly in different places, in different times and to different people in different forms. He granted the same enlightenment to all in different tongues [languages]. All those faithful attain salvation upon receiving the enlightenment. Those who fail to receive are subjected to the liquid fire in hell. This approach towards God makes Him unblemished. The God of all religions is one and the same. He may appear to be different due to differences in His approach to different people, in different times, in different forms and in different tongues. He nurtures all with same compassion.

The sea receives all the rivers in the same way, whether they are straight or curved. The devotion is important and not the religion or path. If the straight river becomes proud and mocks at the curved river, God will see that the straight river will never reach Him. By His will, people will build a dam on that river to divert all the water!

Everyone needs to follow the path assigned in his faith to attain salvation. Every religion has different levels of spiritual enlightenment. One should move up to the higher level for comprehension of the total enlightenment. Such enlightenment alone is the means of salvation.

These levels of enlightenment in each religion are similar to the levels of education. Different religions are similar to different language mediums. The content of the curriculum is same in all the language mediums. A pupil of a certain language should strive to reach higher levels of knowledge in the same medium of his choice. He is a pilgrim in pursuit of divinity. His medium is his opportunity. It is neither superior nor inferior to any other medium. He need not move on to another language medium to uplift himself. All the language mediums are different religions with different levels of knowledge.

A school student studying science in a particular medium (language) need not change his medium, because even if he changes, the syllabus will not change. He should strive to change his syllabus by raising his standard of knowledge and reach to college level in the same medium. The school and college levels exist in every medium. A school student does not become a college student just by changing the medium of his class. He becomes a college student only, when the level of his knowledge rises up. Similarly, a devotee of any religion should try to reach the higher spiritual level in his own religion. His spiritual level is not raised by changing his religion.

Every religion has the lower and higher levels of spiritualism meant for devotees of corresponding stages. Religion is the medium and spiritualism is the curriculum or syllabus with different levels (school level, college level etc.,) present in the same religion.

One shall strive to reach the higher levels of knowledge that are carved out in his own faith. No one needs to move on to another faith for higher level of knowledge for the will of final salvation. All faiths lead to the same destination. In any path, you will have to proceed vertically to reach the goal. At any point of your path, if you travel horizontally, you will reach the same point of level in another path, which is a waste. The realization of this truth alone ensures harmony among different faiths of the world. Failure to perceive the truth will not make anyone enlightened.

Is there a clear path to enlightenment?

There are several reliable paths.
These paths are just different ways of saying the same thing.
1. Realize you are already there.
This perfectly valid admission catches some flack.
People who think enlightenment is the result of spiritual progress like to point out the horrors of your current existence.
But here you are, existing in this miraculous way of yours.
Perhaps you are already free.
Is it so hard to believe?
Once you stop scratching your itches, maybe you’ll find they went away all by themselves.
2. Make everything different by making everything the same.
We reflexively divide events into good, bad, and indifferent.
We are more concerned with what happens than how we respond.
You can explode the whole construct by seeing every moment as a sacred opportunity to give love and know peace.
Other people can't alter your attitude.
Circumstances can't determine your response.
3. Give all to God (or the implicate order).
The idea that you need fixing is cosmically funny.
As God said to Job: “Did you put Leviathan in the sea?”
When Wolter Keers saw Ramana Maharshi, he said it was like a bomb going off.
He said to himself:
Who on earth do you think you are, that you should … cultivate a garden full of problems and questions?
Your life until now was led by the belief in something totally imaginary.
Once Sri Bhagavan asked someone,
“How do you know that you are not realised”?
If you ponder over it, you will find this question is like an earthquake.
I look at him.
He makes it clear that I am this stillness.
This stillness that is the perfect equilibrium, deep unfathomable peace, fulfillment of everything, root of all joy where no desire can survive.
- Wolter Keers, “What does he mean to me?”

How does one gain wisdom?

A famous philosopher has been teaching his students about politics and ethics for years. His students dislike him, since he constantly belittles their intellect and brags about his.
One day, a young girl musters up the courage in class to ask him a simple question: “How does one gain wisdom?”
This catches the philosopher off-guard. He doesn’t know what to say and tries to explain that he doesn’t know the answer to her question, since he focuses on ethics and political philosophy, and not epistemology.
The girl is surprised, “You brag about how smart you are and how dumb we are, but you can’t answer the simple question of how one gains wisdom?!!”
The class bursts into laughter.

The next day, the philosopher confronts the girl, “The only reason I couldn’t answer your question yesterday was because I didn’t have time to think about it, otherwise the answer is simple: You gain wisdom from introspection.
In fact, this is the only way to gain wisdom.”
The girl smirks, “Are you sure? If we can only gain wisdom by thinking on our own, then why are we taking classes from you?”
The philosopher is speechless and the class starts to laugh at him again.

A humbled philosopher comes to class the next day and addresses the girl, “I apologize for having been so arrogant over the years. I hope you can forgive me. You have taught me an important lesson: You can gain wisdom from others.
The girl is pleased but decides to gloat, “You are a fool. I know far more than you ever did and should be teaching this class, since there is nothing more you can teach me.”
The philosopher sees his opening, “Really? I was about to teach a third way to gain wisdom that neither of us has mentioned. But I guess you can tell us.”
The girl regrets her boast, “I can’t…” Her classmates . After an embarrassingly long pause she asks, “What is it?”
“You can gain wisdom from experience. The experience of being embarrassed in front of this class for boastfulness has taught me humility. I hope it teaches the same to you too.”

Confucius has said “By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest.” There are other ways to gain wisdom too, but I think these three are a good start.

Meditation Techniques

Enlightenment has four doors. Each door is associated with a practice or core idea. All doors lead to the same goal, so you can pick whichever one you like.
1. The front door. This is the path of attainment.
Focus on a meditation object to stabilize your attention. When you arrive at spacious clarity, abide there. Gradually, you will realize this is your true nature, your true home.
Each shovelful of earth is the full treasure, and love also deepens with practice.

2. The side door. This is the path of acceptance.
Accept the present moment exactly as it is. You don’t have to accept unethical behavior or preventable tragedies. Merely accept this moment, without trying to change it or yourself.
Extricate yourself from your hankering to get somewhere or achieve some state or condition.
Sitting, to the marrow free of seeking, is a dandy way thus to find that which can only be found by sitting, free of seeking.
- Jundo Cohen
3. The back door. This is the path of surrender.
Give the whole hot mess to God or the supreme being of your understanding.
A passenger on a train keeps his luggage on his head by his own folly. Let him put it down: he will find it reaches the destination all the same. Similarly, let us resign ourselves to the guiding Power.
- Ramana Maharishi
4. The doorless door. This is the path of realization.
Realization is a heavy term, but it indicates something simple and fundamental - an aha moment of total relief, like duh, I left my car keys in the freezer.
All doors are the same door, and there is no door, as we are already inside.
You speak as though you are here, and the Self is somewhere else, and you have to go and reach it.
But the Self is here and now; you are always it.
It is like being here and asking the way to the ashram, then complaining that each one shows a different path.
You are That which alone is and has always been.
The state we call realization is simply being one’s self, not knowing anything or becoming anything.
We loosely speak of realization, for want of a better term.
- Ramana Maharishi

What are your top 10 rules to stay calm?

  1. Become knowledgeable, the more knowledge you have. The calmer you will get automatically. “Empty vessel makes more noise
  2. Do meditation. Earlier, I used to think about what could meditation do, but when I started doing it I realised how it helps.
  3. See your idols. What comes to your mind when we say calm, I hope most of the people will say M.S.Dhoni. There should be a quote or a line like this “As calm as M.S.D”. See what he does in situations under pressure and follow him, I am damn sure you will learn a lot
  4. Avoid arguments. I have observed that people usually lose their calmness when they think that people are not agreeing to what they are saying. We all have some biases and we want that what we think should come out to be true. And when we argue either we lose the argument or the goodwill of the person. We also lose your calmness either ways, therefore we should avoid argumentsI have stopped arguing and I think nothing is better than avoiding it.
  5. The fewer people you chill with, the less bullshit you deal with.” I haven't seen M.S.D chilling with a lot of people. The saying is correct especially when you chill out with negative people. They eat out your head. Nowadays, we are surrounded with so negativity that you will find a handful of positive people, therefore you will only find a few positive people to chill with.
  6. Stay silent. All the calm people who I consider as calm are also silent. They believe in listening more and staying silent. Listen and Silent is anagrams and one can only listen carefully when one in completely from inside. They value their words. “Putting a price tag to your words
  7. Stay happy. The ultimate goal in life is to stay happy from the inside. If you are happy from the inside, then the chances that you will be calmer. The true happiness inside us gives us enough courage and willpower to deal with things. Don't look at things from a destination point of view, look at it from a journey point of view.
  8. Spend time with your family. Just one meal together with your family or if you are staying far one phone call to your family every day will make you more connected to your family. In this era with smartphones in hand, we have stopped spending time with our families. Do that and I assure you will be calmer.
  9. Listen to music. Music relaxes you and when you listen to music, your mind stays calm.
  10. Work Superhard. Give value through whatever you do, when you give more and more value to people through whatever you do a sense of pride comes to you. It makes you happy and you are calm. Providing value is more important.
Cheers! I hope this answer helps.

What could be the stage after enlightenment?

There are Six Stages in Enlightenment. Enlightenment stage is the 3rd Stage.
1. Subhechha:
  • In this level a person gets saturated of worldly pleasures and makes a self-analysis of his life.
  • He comes to know that there is a something exists in the universe, to be realized.
  • This stage is Subhechha, a desire to find one’s self existence.
  • Subhechha is quest to know himself beyond the worldly self.
  • The person in this stage listens to the different discourses about realizing self, this practice is called Shravana.
2Vicharana:
  • In this stage the person becomes seeker of truth in a way of clarifying the doubts that were created at the time of Shravana.
  • He will betake a living guru (Enlightened master (Siddhaguru)) and diligently follows the instructions of his guru.
  • He craves for attaining self-realization. He will gain an unvanished knowledge of Self-Realization. This is called “Parokshagnana”-a knowledge gained out of intellect.
3. Satvapatti:
  • Seeker in this stage will reach the state of “Aham Brahmasmi”. He attains self-realization by means of his Guru and becomes Tatvadarshi.
  • This state is referred as “Tatvadarshana” or “Nirvikalpa Samadhi” or “Satvapatti” or “Aparokhanubhuthi”.
  • In this stage mind doesn’t stand still due to self-qualities. Tatvadarshi has to crave for austerity in Self-realization at this level.
  • The essence of truth is well-known. He understands his real existence.
  • The real heart of Shastras is known.
  • Tatvadarshi will have continuous manifestation of many accomplished enlightened masters.
4. Brahma Vidvara or Asamsakthi:
  • This is the stage where mind stands still as the ego is destroyed completely.
  • The mind becomes dispassionate of worldly happiness.
  • The mind always desire for eternal happiness at this level.
  • He will lose the consciousness of karmic happenings.
  • The intellect loses the decision making power at this level.
  • Mind always quest for eternal happiness at this level.
  • Brahma Vidvara Should be cautious, as only 70% of self-qualities are ruined at this level.
5. Padardha Bhavana or Brahmavidvariya:
  • In this stage, Brahmavidvara becomes Brahmavidvariya always enjoys the bliss of eternal happiness.
  • He will not even come out of the inner consciousness for fulfilling his necessities
  • He will not have physical consciousness even his karmas go on.
  • The self-qualities are ruined by 95% at this stage.
6. Brahmavidvarishta:

  • This is the last stage in the levels of enlightenment.
  •  becomes Brahmavidvarishta in this stage and he is referred as the replica of Parabrahman-The formless deity.
  • The mind becomes pure at this stage.
  • The mind and self-qualities are completely destroyed at this level.
  • He is the embodiment of supreme spirit.
  • He is referred as Paramaguru, Avadhuta, Videhamukta, Stitapragya.
  • Shirdi Saibaba, Lord Srikrishna, Ramana Maharshi, Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, Pamban Sreemath Kumaragurudasa Swami, etc belongs to this level of enlightenment.

In true enlightenment is any understanding really necessary?

This is a very good question! It is not that enlightenment is understood, it is that you are now abiding in an inner atmosphere (consciousness) where what is needed comes to you as it is needed.
The mechanism that we know as our “thinking mind,” a mind full of ideas, overrun by intellect and bogged down by endless filters that interpret our experiences, is now not needed.
In other words, you become free of time processed thinking or linear thinking, where we depend on assembling information and arriving at conclusions.
Now, having said this, will we understand things? Yes, you will understand things clearly. Much more clearly. You will feel happier and relieved not having to judge, assess, analyze, worry about what anyone thinks. Your own truth is now unified. This is true yoga or union when mind, intellect, ego and consciousness are integrated.
It is like returning the colors divided by a prism back to the original pure light -before its divided. This is pure consciousness. The nature of this stage is what my first Master, Durgai Siddhar, calls, “knowledge lessness.”
This type of condition is confused these days by labels such as enlightenment or awakening. Those words imply a swift moment or shift and, “poof” now you are enlightened.
The reality is, these days, enlightenment is a slower process and one you grow into over time. It is less likely to be a “moment.” Instead, one opens like a flower that blooms, gradually unfolding the beauty within. This makes it accessible for everyone.
I recommend meditation on the heart for this. The heart is the seedbed for love, feeling and intuition. While thinking is endless thoughts, the feeling of the heart is only one thing. If we meditate there, this one thing becomes predominant and we grow into a “natural union.”
best to you and All,

What is the third eye?

Without intending to make it too complicated I would like to give you a simple explanation of what the Third Eye really is and how one feels when one gets spiritually awakened.
WHAT IS THE THIRD EYE?
The Third Eye exists in all human beings in more or less powerful form(literally it is not an eye at all rather its is what we generally call as the 6th sense). The 6th sense is a powerful sensation that helps you to think and analyse beyond the other 5 senses (eye, nose, tongue, skin and ears). The Third eye is the awakening of the subconscious mind like for example, when we are asleep, all our sense organs may go to sleep but there is something that still keeps going on in our minds in the form of sensations, images, sounds etc. That is what we generally call as dreams (ideas concocted by our sub-conscious minds). The third eye becomes powerful when we lose our body consciousness (as in sleep) and transcend the barriers of normal senses.
There are people who have strong intuitive power (awakening of solar plexus)- most of what they predict comes out true and then there are people who can read other’s minds and tell what they are thinking about, and then there are people who have a strong presence of mind- they seem to think and react faster without even being aware of it. All these happenings occur when our Third Eye becomes alert.
HOW DO YOU KNOW IF YOURS IS OPEN? HOW CAN YOU TELL IF YOURS IS STRONG?
You can awaken your third eye through Meditation- It cannot be accomplished in a day, rather it takes years to open the third eye. But, once you are able to activate your third eye you can expand your mental horizon and get spiritually enlightened. You will begin to see the world more clearly than you would see with open eyes. This can appear as a mystical power being able to “see” or “predict” processes, events, potentials which are not physically present. But it’s a very real and tangible skill.
As you improve in your meditation- you will start visualizing different lights, objects, figures etc. Some even feel as though they are entering a tunnel, similar to that visualized by people who have near death experiences.
In order to activate the third eye, the most important thing is you need to overcome the other 5 senses and should be able to control them -a spiritually enlightened person does not feel attracted towards sensual objects (pertaining to senses). The very thing you are after – the essence – is inside of you all the time. All that you want to be, you already are. All you have to do is move your awareness there and recognize the reality of your own Soul.
