Learned very late

  1. Remaining silent is one of the most effective ways to get information out of someone.
  2. Don't allow your immaturity to make you mismanage your opportunity.
  3. The beginning of wisdom is understanding your limitations.
  4. You are going to make a lot of mistakes, and not learning from those mistakes is a stupid mistake you don't want to make.
  5. Your life is a reflection of your thoughts and your values.
  6. Men put their money where their heart is.
  7. When you first jump your parachute is not going to open right away. But if you don't jump you will never soar. You will never know.
  8. Ease is a greater threat to progress than hardship.
  9. Never give up. Without commitment you will never start and without consistence you will never finish.
  10. Don't compete with everyone else. Just be the best you can be.
  11. Your time here is limited.
  12. The things which philosophy attempts to teach by reasoning, poverty forces us to practice.
  13. You can discover more about a person in an hour of play than in a year of conversation.
  14. Newton’s First Law applied to poverty : Your bank account will remain empty until you do something about it.
  15. Treat failure like a scientist. Your failures don't define you. They are simply data points that help guide the next experiment.
  16. Love gives and love sacrifices.
  17. Sometimes the bad things that happen in our lives put us directly on the path to the best things that will ever happen to us.
  18. Being hungry makes you make better decisions.
  19. Nobody wants to hear this, but sometimes the person you want most, is the person you're best without.
  20. Remember this :Silence and Smiles are two powerful tools. Smiles are the way to solve many problems and silence is the way to avoid many problems.
  21. Don't depend too much on anyone in this world because even your shadow leaves you when you are in darkness.
  22. Talk to yourself sometimes. It helps improve your mood and enhance your intelligence and boost your self esteem.
  23. If you don't devour when you're young, you'll have nothing to divide when you're old!
Youth goes by quick, you'll never know what you can or cannot do until you throw your whole self into it, devour it. There's an old person inside of you that's depending on you making the right choices today! Do not disappoint that person by being foolish during the strongest years of your life so you will have something to divide when you're older.

What psychological tricks and hacks are useful to know?

1.To get the full version of a story with more details: Simply listen to a person without pushing them for additional information or giving advice. This will significantly increase your chances of getting more information.
2.To avoid repeating yourself: When you ask someone a question and they reply with “What?”, simply stare at them. In most cases, the person will answer your question. This trick works because for most people, it’s like a habit to ask “What?” even if they heard you. So staring at them will do the trick to make them answer you.
3.To diffuse the tense air after the argument: Wait for a few minutes after the argument is over. Then ask a person a question about the thing they are passionate about or know very well.
Most of the time, results will end with success as the person will feel happy after talking about their favorite thing and forget about the argument.
However, note that this trick may not work in the case of major, tense arguments. It’s more handy when it comes to minor, relatively less tense arguments.
4.To successfully handle constant questions of a curious kid: Kids are naturally inquisitive; there’s no denying that. And sometimes their inquisitiveness can be a hassle to deal with, especially when you don’t have the answers to those questions yourself.
So next time a kid asks you a question, instead of struggling to find a proper answer, reply with “I’m not really sure. What do you think about it?”. More often than not, the kid will answer to their own question.
5.To avoid sounding like you are ordering around: “Say I need your help with this”, instead of saying “I need you to do this” or “I want you to do something”.
6.To avoid being seen as a negative person: Don’t talk trash about people behind their back. First, it’s unethical and second, it’ll make other people associate all those negative qualities with you.
7.To solve something complex: Start by telling yourself that the task is easy and solvable. You may not be able to solve it completely, but at the very least, you won’t be distracted by the negative thoughts of not being able to solve it.
8.To boost a motivation and elevate the mood before you start your day: Listen to motivational or upbeat music.
9.To make someone uncomfortable: During a conversation, avoid eye contact and instead gaze at a person’s forehead. However, don’t forget to remain ethical and only use this trick on people who deserve to have this trick used on them.
More specifically, people who are actually annoying, nosy and invaders of personal privacy, to name a few.
10.To ease your anxiety: Purposefully and slowly look all around you to scan the whole area or room. This trick can calm your nervous system by confirming that there is no immediate physical danger present.
11.To avoid conflict and drama: Compliment, not insult, people behind their back.
12.To avoid looking like a-know-it-all: When someone tells you something, reply with “You are right” instead of “I know”.

Power of your subconscious mind

One really interesting example of the power of the subconscious mind is Subliminal Perception.
Over the years, it was proven by hundreds of studies that a high amount of information can be perceived, even when observers do not experience any awareness of that perception.
subliminal message is undetected by the normal limits of perception.
For example, a sound which is inaudible to the conscious mind, but interpreted by the deeper subconscious, or a image transmitted so briefly that is unperceived consciously.
Many studies where done regarding this subject, I give some interesting examples:
  • It was proven that anesthetized patients are capable of recalling information that was obtained while they were in an unconscious state. Although they were not able to directly report the events, more indirect methods of examining proved that they could confirm information perceived when they were asleep.
  • Blind patients due to neurological damage (mostly occipital lobe damage) can unconsciously obtain some visual information received by their visual field. That information is not interpreted consciously, and patients report it as an “instinct that something is there”.
  • It was proven that the information received by our peripheral vision may bypass our consciousness and be integrated directly by our subconscious. Sometimes when reading a book, people “randomly” think about a word or idea, only to find that word or idea written in the following paragraph. I can personally relate to this example, as it happens a lot to me while studying.
  • The 6th sense. It is believed that when someone has an unexplained bad feeling about a specific situation, it may be due to unconscious perceptions received in that context.
Some skeptics argue that this phenomenon is exploited by brands and political powers to influence people on a daily basis. However, this claim remains unproved, as there is no evidence to suggest that any serious attempt has been made to use the technology on mass audiences.
(are those lines straight?)
Cheers!

What are some sad facts about human nature?

  1. People only offer help to people who don’t need help! Hence “the rich get richer” & banks only give loans when you can prove you don’t need one.
  2. Familiarity is the mother of disrespect!
  3. People don’t change with time, but rather their character is revealed with time.
  4. Life breaks everyone and afterward only the strong are left stronger in the broken places.
  5. Much happiness is overlooked because it doesn’t cost anything. After all, people only value a price tag.
  6. In the race of life, the human race is the biggest hurdle to the human race.
  7. Standing right behind every rich employer, there is a not-so rich employee.
  8. Nobody’s ever fully satisfied till they’ve been dead a few days.
  9. Since death awaits us all, nothing can truly be taken away from us. In life, there is literally nothing to lose.
  10. Most men marry for what they can plant in the woman’s tummy; most women marry to keep that tummy full!
  11. If you’re too deep for people, they’ll think you’re a fool.
  12. Life is all in how you look at it, and most people are wired to “look at it” thru negative lenses.
  13. “Marriage” converts the womanizer into a “polygamist.”
  14. Nature imposes needs. Society sells wants.
  15. Most people trade in tomorrow’s success for today’s pleasure.
  16. The mind is a battlefield! Some folks go to sleep and wake up tired. Why?They had sleep but no rest.
  17. Everybody wants to go to heaven but nobody wants to die for the free trip!
  18. It’s not that you can’t win them all but rather you’re not supposed to win them all.
  19. Most folks can’t endure spending a few minutes alone. Yet they expect others to spend hours, or days, or even a lifetime with them.
  20. Last but not least: you might as well be yourself, dahling, because everyone else is already taken.
GOD BLESS & may all your dreams come true.

Shiva Karmas

There are some laws of shiva karma may you like.
Lord shiva which is a “Hindu” term has originated form a beautiful concept of E+Shiva (Shav=Dead, and E=Energy).
It means when energy flows into the dead body ; it starts to live ,hence called shiva. Which only denotes , we’re all born Shivas.
“Shiva the most important god in Hinduism”.
1.Truth:- the 1st law of Shiva karma is the truth. This law asks the followers to follow the path of truth, justice, and being true to themselves and those who are around.
Remember that dishonesty and false deeds may prevail in small battles, but the truth always wins the war.
2.knowledge is god:- A single person can not possess the knowledge of everything ,but everyone may possess the knowledge of something. We should find that seed of knowledge within us, and then do all our karma around it.
3.Everything is an illusion:- No matter what life you’ve living, at what place you are; if your happiness depends on the materialistic things you own, then happiness is an illusion for you, and it’ll be gone with that things. The 3rd law of shiva karma asks belivers not to attach their happiness to earthly things.
4. Beyond happiness:- Everyone is worried about their happiness and doesn’t care if people around them are happy or not.however real happiness is beyond limits and it could be felt only when we have found the seed of knowledge within us, and we are truthful with others and ourselves.
Remember happiness comes from within, not outside.
5. Be formless:- If you may have noticed a happy person around you, you’ll see that the illusion does not control them. You put them any situation at any place; they’ll be the same calm and content in their mind.so, the 5th law of karma is practicing to be formless like water.
6.Using all your senses :- When our mind is at peace with heart, and we walk on the path of self realization, all our senses come together to work in proper synchronization. When you achieve this state in your physical form, the feeling you get is incomparable.
7.Enlightenment is awakening:- With these laws of shiva karma, you achieve enlightenment. The highest form of existence for a human. In this states of mind you attain self-realization along with the proper understanding of nature and reality.

Who is Lord Shiva?

I can share my personal experience with Lord Shiva (Nothingness), I had witnessed during a meditation camp in Uttarakhand Himalayan region.
Since my childhood, Lord Shiva attracted me the most, probably because of the mysterious stories I had heard about him.
I had an impression in my mind, that Lord Shiva lives in Himalayas in a human form (as we see in TV serials), but all my preconceived notions were about to get shattered.
During a trekking expedition in Himalayas, I met an unknown “Realised Guru” in an unexpected situation and he changed my life.
Initially, he appeared to me like any other man, because he is not a sanyasi, lives with family, uses mobile phones, drives a car, he is young and wears urban clothes etc.
But when we started to talk I realised he knows some deep secrets and he is a Himalayan Mystic.
He never claimed that he was a realised being and till today he prefers to stay unknown.
After the trek was over, I came down to the base camp, I met him again and we started the conversation in front of a bonfire.
He systematically destroyed my belief system of Gods, Goddesses, heaven, traditional mode of prayers and borrowed knowledge from books.
He encouraged me to be a 'seeker', rather than a 'believer', which simply means -
Never believe in 'anything', until you experience it yourself”
After that night long conversation, it was clear to me that Shiva is “formless and everywhere”, but I was yet to experience or feel his presence.
Although I was feeling a strong attraction towards Guruji but I was still skeptical, whether I should trust him because it felt like probably he knows hypnotism or something which was making my mind calm.
Later on, I started to visit him often and he used to teach me certain meditation techniques.
I realised that in his presence when I used to meditate, I used to feel an intense feeling in my spine and sometimes I used to feel mild oscillation in my body.
One day, I was meditating and as soon as he arrived my upper body started rotating mildly on its own, as if there is some mild earthquake.
After meditation I asked him why is it happening?
He said:
“your energies are moving upward and when you progress from one stage to another it happens. Don't bother about it and focus on the kriya.”
No one is a resident meditator in his campsite because he doesn't have those facilities, but we go there often for meditation camps.
After many months, one day after meditation session I went to him to take his blessings because I was about to leave.
He was on 'silence' (Maun vrat) that day and was sitting on his chair.
I touched his feet to take his blessings and sat in front of him near his feet.
He looked straight in my eyes and I felt something is about to happen.
It felt like his eyes were saying something that my conscious mind was not able to interpret, however probably my sub conscious or unconscious mind was listening.
For the first time he applied his thumb in my forehead in the Aagya chakra.
I felt an electric current in my whole body and I started crying out of joy for no reason.
It felt as if something was transmitted from his body to my body and that was the ‘moment’ when I came to know who he is.
For that moment ‘I’ vanished and only Shiva was everywhere…literally everywhere!
That was the “miracle of Shiva”, when he made me realise that I was a fool to believe that I and Shiva are two separate entities.
There were never two entities, only he is there, everywhere, there is nothing except him…
Later on I experienced many things which I will not reveal because certain experiences are personal and not meant to be shared.
It sounds so simple, but why for ‘most people' it is very difficult to realise?
Because of your identities or ego - I am this, I am that, I like this, I do not like this etc.
The worst kind of identity is “I am spiritual”
The whole process of yoga is to shatter your identities.
Be a seeker, please do not believe anything, until you experience it yourself
In Advait Vedanta, Shiva is described as the infinitely vast dark empty space / void / nothingness, which is holding the entire universe.
Some call that God, some say that is Allah, some say Krishna, we call that Shiva and scientists are studying it as unknown Dark energy and Dark matter.
If you want to give him a new name, (example: XYZ) give him any name, he won't mind!
If you don't believe in him, even then he won't mind.
It's like one of your tiny body cells say : I don't believe that you exist, I have a separate identity and I am not a part of you…would you mind it?
Shiva is also described as niraakar roopam (without any shape or size) vast nothingness or emptiness (Shoonyata).
Only ‘Shoonyata’ (which was there before creation started & which will remain after destruction of universe) qualifies for ‘niraakar’ (formless), because creation would always have a particular size and shape.
This has been proven that the whole universe is in vibrational form which was described in our ancient texts as “Nada Bramha” ( Universe is just sound or vibration)
Scientists say that at sub-atomic level there is no mass but only energy (which we call as Shakti) and subatomic particles constantly disappear in to nothingness (destruction) and re-appear out of nothing (creation).
As per experiences of spiritual masters, all the things in this universe are different manifestations of same energy (Shakti).
Before creation of universe there was only vast nothingness (shoonya, shiva or emptiness), then energy (shakti) appeared out of nothingness and whole universe was created as a manifestation of energy (with help of nothingness) and this process is happening every moment.
These two fundamental forces are known as yin & yang, shiv & shakti etc.
Nothing’ & ‘something’ combined to make ‘everything’…
Have you noticed ? All computer programs are also made of only 2 fundamental binary digits '0′ (nothing) and ‘1’ (something), isn't it?
If you observe everything around with a keen interest, you will be able to see how these 2 fundamental forces are working every moment for the process of 'creation' and 'destruction'.
If you will do research about dark matter, dark energy, higgs boson and god particle, you will realise that the whole universe is a manifestation of energy
Now coming back to Bholenath Baba or bhagwan Shankar (or many other names), he was described as “Yaksha swaroop” which means he was not in human form because he was a extra terrestrial being.
Bholenath Shankar ji is considered a form of Shiva because he reached a “meditative state” wherein spiritually, there was no difference left between him and Shiva.
He was the first Guru, who showed the path of Yog (the ultimate union) with the Shiv inside us.
Many people may call Bholenath's story as a mythology and may dis-believe it and you have every right to say that, because no one knows what exactly happened.
However, Shiva is not a story figure, he is the one and only ‘formless’ cosmic consciousness which is present everywhere.
There is a misconception that Hindus believe in 33 crore Gods and Goddesses.
There are many deities or demigods, considered as different manifestations of same God. (For example : Indra, Surya etc. cannot be compared with ultimate God because they are ‘devtas’ not ‘Paramaatma’)
Even Bramha, Vishnu & Mahesh are described as 3 different aspects (creation, operation & destruction) of the same 'one' God.
Some ignorant people get into debates like who is greater, Krishna or Shankar?
Such people do not even know the essence of Hinduism or Sanatan dharma.
When someone says Krishna is inside us or Krishna is everywhere, is he talking about the physical body which participated in Mahabharata war and in the end died because of an arrow of a hunter?
Krishna or Rama were names given to respective physical bodies and when we say Krishna is everywhere, of course no one is talking about that physical body.
We are talking about the universal conciousness or cosmic soul which is common for Krishna, Rama, Shankar, Jesus, Buddha etc., hence that conciousness is literally everywhere. (Within us also).
The only difference is you have not realised it yet.
We all are different forms of same God.
Hindus believe in only 'one' God, but call him by different names.
Would you like to experience Shiv?
Just look around because he is everywhere, even better would be, to try looking ‘inside.’
Ask yourself who is reading this answer through your eyes?
Understanding all this intellectually is of no use, experience the Shiv within you directly, make it the goal of your life and make sure you do not stop until you are blessed with Self realization.
Once you are self realized, no outside situation can bother you because you will be in ultimate bliss.
Awake!
Aum Namah Shivay

How can I control my subconscious mind?

  1. You have trained your subconscious mind before. If you can drive, write, walk, etc., without thinking about the activity, it’s your subconscious mind at work.
  2. Your subconscious mind holds beliefs like — “I need to work hard to achieve success” “It’s safe for me to stay alone because people will abandon me”.
  3. You act on these beliefs without thinking — “You take on work that requires you to suffer” “Push people out of your life”.
  4. You must replace the old beliefs with better ones — “I can get success easily” “People won’t leave me when I open up to them”
  5. After replacing, take repeated action to strengthen them — ”Find a way to make work easier” “Go open up to a friend”.
  6. With repetition your new beliefs will become automatic — and your life effortless.
